Imagine your world in motion. Everything is moving in the right direction. Your work, your relationships, your health, your wellbeing and your life. All of your hopes and dreams are moving forward in a positive, exciting and meaningful way.
What would a world like this look like? What would a world like this feel like?
For many, this world of being “on the move”, is not a reality. In fact it’s just the opposite. Most of us find ourselves or those we live with, work with or associate with stuck, trapped and imprisoned like birds locked in a cage, unable to fly. This silent majority, for years, has longed for the day and the key to break free and unlock their dreams and potential, wondering when they will discover the solution to break out and spread their wings and finally fly.
Well, that time….IS NOW!
There is a key to unlock our immobile, inactive and unrealized hopes and potential and get our lives and those we care about “on the move”.
In fact, the key just happens to be right at our own two feet.
For this we know, moving your body is key to moving your life. If you move your body (not just with exercise-which we will talk a lot more about later), you will move your:

IMAGINE a world where everyone is moving. Picture yourself, your family, your friends, your co-workers, your company, your city, your state and your world moving more and sitting less.
What would that look like? What would be different?
You see, we believe it’s time to stop the “blah-blah-blah”!
You know, the old exercise mantra and advice we as health and fitness professionals have been extolling ever since the Eisenhower administration, some 60 plus years ago. You know it, “if we would just exercise 3-5 days a week, performing regular aerobic exercise in our target heart rate zone and 2-3 days of regular resistance training along with stretching daily, it will help you improve your heart, health, weight…”. “Blah-Blah-Blah” You know it, right?
Here’s the problem. Most of us know exercise is good for us and the “Blah-blah-blah” is true, but the majority of us just can’t seem to find the time or the motivation to do it on a regular and consistent basis.
And you know what? We are not alone. In fact, well over 70% of Americans don’t exercise enough to maintain their present health. But, if you asked these same individuals if they believe exercise is good for them, over 95% would say they believe it is.
We got to thinking, here at RISE, there has to be a better way.
We believe it’s time to move away from the old way of doing “Exercise” and move towards a new way of thinking, moving and living.
Why just talk about or dream about exercise when you can start a movement?
What if you could start a movement in your own life and in the lives of those you care about? What if you could begin to move your world, today, right now?
Socrates has been quoted as saying,
“To move the world, we must first move ourselves.”
Well, we believe it starts with us and it is time to Move Ourselves:
Picture a day:
What would your world look like if this day turned into weeks and months and years…what would happen? What impact would this have on our lives on those closest to us or on our organizations on our neighborhoods, cities, states, country and world?
This is a movement and we believe this movement, begins with you.
In fact, we got to thinking about what we believe about “Moving More and Sitting Less”, and came up with a “Creed”-a statement of beliefs which we hope you can agree with right along with us.
